This is a beginner class, no previous experience is needed!

In this class, we will learn how to make a tumbler, a plate, and a luminary out of clay by hand. 
We will also bisque fire and glaze fire your pieces, each firing takes approximately 12 hours, Multiple pieces go in.

We use specific clay and underglazes that we have had success with previously. It is essential not to bring other materials to the studio to ensure the studio kiln continues to work correctly and other student work is not damaged. We want everyone to leave with art they are proud to share with others and a fun experience. 

Clay (Laguna B-mix)

Pottery tools: Sponges, needle tool, clay cutters, rib, and trim tools.
Underglazes or glaze (Coyote and amaco are our carried brands)

During this class, we will select a pattern to create an individual piece of cross stitch. We all have our favorite subjects and we have a large selection of patterns from which to choose. We also have a large supply of DMC thread if you already have a pattern you wish to make, bring it with you! We can shop for any materials needed we do not currently have. We recognize the limited access to supplies in this area.
